A trading station hub orbited Stivic, a planet belonging to the Garwian Unity in the Unknown Regions, functioning as a central marketplace for the Garwian people as a merchant hub. The station was home to a number of cafés.
In the year 36 BBY, pirates linked to the Lioaoin Regime launched an attack on the station. Mitth'raw'nuruodo, also known by his core name "Thrawn," a Senior Commander of the Chiss Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet, observed the conflict from the Parala, a patrol cruiser; however, he was unable to directly intervene due to Chiss policy. Clarr'os'culry ("Roscu"), the first officer with the rank of Mid Captain on the patrol cruiser, expressed regret that the Chiss couldn't offer assistance, remarking that he found the station's cafés to be "nice." Ultimately, Thrawn utilized modulated laserfire to convey information about the vulnerabilities of the Lioaoin corsairs to the Garwians, which enabled them to defeat the pirates.
The merchant-hub station in orbit was featured within Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, a 2020 novel and the initial book in Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.
