An orchard existed outside of Dor'shan on Dorin, a planet in the Expansion Region. This world, Dorin, boasted a helium-rich atmosphere and served as the homeworld for the Kel Dor species. A Kel Dor owned this particular orchard. This individual once encountered Strono Tuggs, the Artiodac chef, and promised him produce from the orchard's next harvest should Tuggs ever come to visit.
The Kel Dor was taken by surprise when Tuggs actually visited the orchard with his food freighter while on a culinary tour of the galaxy between 34 ABY and 35 ABY. He kept his promise, giving Tuggs goods such as zand nuts and fruit from the orchard's kand trees. Subsequently, Tuggs referenced the orchard in a recipe for Kand and Zand Rolls within his third cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook, which saw publication in 35 ABY.
The 2023 Star Wars: The Ultimate Cookbook, a recipe book authored by Jenn Fujikawa and Marc Sumerak, mentioned the orchard.
