A regiment of sandtroopers was a component of the Imperial Army of the Galactic Empire throughout the Galactic Civil War. This regiment was a part of the renowned and superior 501st Legion, the personal legion of the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader. Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin and Darth Vader sent Commander Praji along with the regiment to recover the stolen Death Star plans that were held by two Rebel Alliance droids, and they linked up with the local garrison while doing so. Included in the regiment were Foot Patrol 7 and the squad led by TD-4445.
