About the name
I must say, that's a pretty cool name. Were you trying to be sarcastic, and then someone decided to remove your arms and legs with a chainsaw?-Jacen Solo
- Indeed. I expressed my indignation to the individual who subjected me to this. The jerk then told me that I at least had a very endearing nickname now. --ToRsO bOy 13:23, 17 October 2006 (PDT) I knew it was a reference to that little town in New Mexico! By the way, did you ever manage to get that really box that you were struggling with up the stairs? Jorrel Fraajic Well, with Marty missing his arms and legs, it was quite a challenge. I almost succeeded, but those pesky weasels discovered me and started biting again. --ToRsO bOy 20:37, 28 November 2006 (UTC) Those darn weasels... hey, now that I think about it, did you happen to meet a homeless guy who hadn't eaten in three days? He had a neck injury, I believe... caused by the same chainsaw-wielding guy who took off your arms... the guy referred to him as "another amusing anecdote."

Regarding Wings
Responding to your question here, a bit belatedly: while the novel only names three squadrons, page 224 mentions that "The StealthX wing split into six squadrons", and the total fighter count, exceeding 70, aligns with a six-squadron wing. I suspect that the wing's size might be primarily determined by the number of StealthXs available, rather than adhering to a standard structure, although there might be some intentional subtext in the fact that it matches an Imperial TIE wing. --McEwok 17:02, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Concerning Minor edits
Hello there. This isn't a major issue at all, but I wanted to inform you. If you mark an edit as "minor", it shouldn't involve a change in content. Even adding something like a category disqualifies it as a minor edit. Only check the box if it's a change to spelling, grammar, formatting, or something similar. This helps differentiate non-content edits from recent changes and similar pages, as someone might want to review the addition of a category or any other content alteration. Consider edits to CONTENT, rather than the number of characters changed, to determine if it's minor or not. (You can also refer to wikipedia's minor edit page, although it's not official policy here... just a general guideline). Wildyoda 18:43, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
- Understood. Thanks for the advice. ToRsO bOy 18:48, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Regarding Lookalikes
You know, they do bear a resemblance to the people you mentioned. It's not the only instance where characters have either looked similar or had their appearances directly inspired by images of celebrities. It's known that Kam Solusar and Sagoro Autem are based on Bruce Willis, Iry Danta on Steve Buschemi, Chik Apla on Jack Nicholson, Tyber Zann on Jason Issacs, and Kal Skirata on Ed Harris. Suddenly, the galaxy feels like it's been infiltrated by celebrities, or we're witnessing an intriguing future concerning live-action portrayals. -- Riffsyphon1024 21:49, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- By the way, most of these lookalikes originate from Star Wars: Union. Here's another one: Derran Takkar from Peter Stormare. -- Riffsyphon 1024 21:56, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Concerning Bolding titles
Hello ToRsO bOy,
While reviewing recent changes, I noticed that you've created several new articles for minor characters from The Bacta War, which is great!
However, some of the crew members of Sair Yonka's Freedom have had their ranks bolded along with their names. For example, Lieutenant Carsa should be just Carsa (Carsa - here's the link for you to correct it). Remember, the bold writing should match the article title exactly, and ranks or titles like Master, Captain, General, etc., should not be bolded as well.
I'm just trying to be helpful; I hope this doesn't come across as condescending. Keep up the good work!

Re;85th Infantry Brigade
- It mentions pages 102, 108, and 110, and I believe some others as well. I'm glad you appreciate my contributions regarding Order 66; it's a pretty good novel, although I haven't finished reading it yet. -- Jinzler 14:13, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
Re:Revert
I apologize; I should have provided the reasons in the edit summary instead of using rollback. Basically, articles with only one appearance shouldn't have a (first appearance) task. Regarding the eras tag, if something is timeless, it shouldn't have era tags. I'm not sure if the Yuuzhan Vong specifically created that ceremony for what happens in Traitor, so an era tag might be appropriate. I'm uncertain. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 21:53, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
Re: Mando booze
Hello. Thank you for bringing that to my attention -- I simply followed a redlink from another page, so it was likely incorrect to begin with. I've redirected the article I created to the older one you showed me :) Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 19:02, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Galaxy Guide 12 states that Gran have two stomachs, not four, so I had to correct that. However, thank you for the additions. -- Riffsyphon1024 15:27, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
Cestus Deception and Forscan
Hello there. I'm reaching out because you recently edited the Cestus Deception page, and I'm assuming you have the book. If so, I'm trying to verify information about Forscan IV and Forscan VI. I suspect that one might be a typo and they are the same planet. Could you possibly confirm this? Wildyoda 17:17, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
- Never mind the typo possibility anyway. I've found other references to both of them around the site. The articles just need more content, so at least I've brought it to your attention if you have the source. Wildyoda 02:36, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. I've seen some links and a Clone Wars timeline with a battle of Forscan IV and a battle of Forscan VI. I may be wrong, but I still think it looks like the two articles are both based off the same information in Cestus Deception, and someone mixed up their Roman numerals. I might mention it in the Senate Hall, but if you happen to read the book anytime soon (it's quite good), please check if both are actually mentioned there. Thanks for the response. Wildyoda 04:12, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Regarding Darman
The relevant text is on page 426 of Order 66: "The 501st troops were pretty sharp, but some of the other new boys weren't up to scratch for commando training. It wasn't so much the mediocre performance on initial testing that got to him—what else did the expect from clones grown in a year or two?—but that they seemed to think that Centax 2 was Kamino." On second thought, I suspect I might have read too much into the end of that first sentence. What are your thoughts? --Muuuuuurgh 13:56, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
About Categorization
Thank you for your assistance with categorizing authors. However, authors of short stories published in RPG works (like those in the Adventure Journals or Gamer) should not be added to the RPG author category; I'm reserving that solely for RPG articles and other reference-like RPG works. - Lord Hydronium 22:43, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Question about the GA page
I'm not a member of the ACs, but I believe I can answer the question you raised on the GAN page. Basically, yes; you'll need to wait for more ACs to review the article. You can always ask them to review the article via their discussion pages or on IRC, but don't expect them to review it immediately. They'll usually get to it, depending on their own availability. I hope this helps. :) CC7567 (talk) 02:29, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Ordo on the GAN
Hello Torso Boy :-). Following the recent AC Meeting, we decided to trial a new GAN format on some of our longer nominations, which in this case are Darth Nihilus and Ordo Skirata. As you can see from the GAN, the objections section has been moved to what will become the archive subpage here. Now you can monitor that page and see immediately when someone has raised an objection or commented on your nomination, instead of having to constantly check the GAN. :-). Merazane Gold
Hello, Torso. Are you certain that Merazane Gold isn't supposed to be Merenzane Gold? I just want to confirm that you've spelled it correctly and everything. Toprawa and Ralltiir 04:33, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I think that would probably be the best course of action, considering it was most likely intended to be "Merenzane." Including a BTS note would be appropriate if you decide to redirect. Toprawa and Ralltiir 04:39, 27 June 2009 (UTC) Absolutely. Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir 06:04, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
Creation of Spilik's Aide
While patrolling some pages requiring maintenance, I came across the article "Spiliks Aide." I started editing it, and I was appalled by what I found. It was a complete mess. Please consult the Manual of Style before creating more articles. Also, if you need to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you didn't create this article, please let me know, and I sincerely apologize. Thank you. Gmalek 18:50, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
X-wing series Appearances
Hello, I appreciate you adding many appearances in those novels, but you didn't differentiate between an actual appearance and when something was mentioned only. Also, you didn't include any indirect mentions at all (if there were any). It's crucial to make these distinctions and ensure they are as accurate as possible. In the future, when you work on Appearance lists, please include these details. It saves a lot of trouble and frustration. Thanks. --Jedi Marty 21:52, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Castin
Hello,
Just to add that, in case you don't have The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, Donn's entry reads as follows
As you can see, this presents some issues. While Donn's "execution by Imperial Captain Seku" is clearly a mistake, the fact that Donn is stated to be alive at the time of the shooting in Passik's entry isn't really contradicted by the novel. Sorry I didn't check this earlier. Anyway, you can either incorporate this unfortunately canonical information into the bio or treat both entries as mistakes (with the understanding that if one is wrong, why shouldn't the other be) and include a note in the BtS. Have you also checked the two articles (Who's Who in Rogue Squadron and Wraith Squadron, respectively) for clarifications? -- —Harrar (Cut the comm chatter) 23:47, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- Hello, yes, that's a good idea. Sometimes people add a short sentence at the end saying "this article assumes that so and so version of events is correct," but I'm not sure that's always necessary. Another thing would be this sentence from CSWE: "and propagated it across the HoloNet before the Empire could put its official spin on the matter." — that goes beyond the information in Iron Fist, which focuses more on what happens on Coruscant. So this information could be added to the biography, I think! -- —Harrar (Cut the comm chatter) 12:30, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Re: GAN Question
You don't need to submit it for re-nomination, as the ACs trust the nominator to handle everything related to the article. We only review already-promoted GAs and, if necessary, probe them when there are extremely noticeable errors or a lack of information; GAs are mainly demoted because no one bothers to fix the problems that the ACs find. We do try to keep track of GAs after they are promoted, but GAN Rule 5 ("An article must, following the review process, be stable, i.e., does not change significantly from day to day") mainly seeks to rule out the chance of these errors occurring. We expect nominators to be able to maintain their own GAs with standards that match those of the ACs, but if you'd really like us to, we can review Skirata again to ensure the article is sufficient. I hope that answers your question. CC7567 (talk) 22:21, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
Re: Malano III
I trust you, but the reason I reverted it is that you simply copy-pasted the article. By doing it this way, the revision history of who created the article gets lost. For example, here, you can't see that it was Nightlily who created the article. That's why there's the "move" button, which can move the revision history to the new page name. This time, Malano III needs to be deleted first, because it isn't possible to move to an already existing article. Then, Melano III will be moved there. I'd recommend you add the already written part to Melano III, so that the new content is already there when the page is moved. Let me know if you have any more questions. Categories
Torso, just a heads up. There's no need to include the "Pilots" category on articles that are already categorized under a subcategory like Rogue Squadron personnel, as it's inherently redundant. Toprawa and Ralltiir 00:49, March 19, 2010 (UTC)
- I understand, but all the articles you've been adding the Pilots category to feature pilots, so you're essentially adding the category twice. If someone categorized under Rogue Squadron is a technician instead of a pilot, adding the Mechanics category would be appropriate, as it's not a subcategory of Rogue Squadron. The fact that Luke Skywalker and Han Solo articles are set up a certain way doesn't guarantee correctness. The pilot category should be removed from the Luke article. Re: Appearances policy
Torso Boy, when I made that statement, I was referring to how I'd always seen appearances listed, even in status articles. Looking back, I realize I assumed we had a policy because that's how status articles were handled, which was my mistake. However, I still believe there's no reason to put the title before the character's name, as it's not part of the name, and if the title appeared in the source, it would be listed later under "Organizations and titles." I can't find any actual policy on it, so I assumed incorrectly. :P Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 17:46, May 12, 2010 (UTC)

ToRsO Boy, I noticed you nominated Antilles for the FAs! Great job; I would have done it myself. Would you mind if I reviewed Antilles?--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 21:48, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

QOTD nomination
The QOTD you nominated from Isard's Revenge seems to have some dialogue missing. In my version of the novel, the exchange is: Cracken: "It also has codes that will allow you to access five million credits - each. Based on the authorization in the card, you can go anywhere and do anything you need to do. If you think of something, no matter how wild, and you need to take steps to stop Isard, this will allow you to take them." Booster: "Good, we can use it to buy more guns for my ship." It then continues as you indicated. Should I include the full dialogue if the quote reaches +10? Enochf 09:56, June 19, 2011 (UTC)
