Veermok

Veermoks represented a non-sentient species of meat-eating primates. These carnivorous creatures were characterized by a wide upper body, lengthy and strong arms, and relatively slender legs. Their paws featured three fingers ending in sharp, white claws, and they possessed a dog-like snout filled with extremely sharp teeth. Their backs and arms were coated in thick, dark brown fur, while their lower body was devoid of hair. A lone veermok possessed the equivalent strength of ten human beings.

Veermoks, which dwelled in swamps and damp forests, were arboreal animals. They were also primarily solitary beings, usually living their lives alone, and they exhibited high levels of aggression.

The evolutionary origins of the Veermoks can be traced back to Naboo, a resource-rich planet located within the Mid Rim region of the galaxy.

A unique subspecies had established itself on Eriadu, an Outer Rim Territories planet that was relatively close to Naboo in galactic terms. This subspecies differed from the typical veermok in both their physical characteristics and their social interactions.
