Not long after the Galactic Emperor, Sheev Palpatine, introduced the Public Order Resentencing Directive as a response to a rebel heist that occurred on the planet of Aldhani in 5 BBY, Vivyn was present at a gathering that took place at the Chandrilan Embassy located on Coruscant.
During the party, Chandrilan Senator Mon Mothma engaged in conversation with Vivyn, along with Senators Dhow and Teenar, as well as the guest Slorda, in an attempt to garner support against the directive. Holding a beverage, Vivyn expressed her belief that the directive would offer protection, which she asserted was the Emperor's primary responsibility, adding that they had already experienced the consequences of insufficient protection during what she saw as perilous times. Subsequently, Vivyn gave a light laugh when Slorda diverted the conversation with a humorous remark. Vivyn possessed fair skin and red hair. At the social event, the senator was seen wearing a pink dress complemented by a golden necklace and matching earrings.
