Vworkka were a species of predatory birds of prey that were indigenous to the arid world of Jakku, where their diet consisted of skittermice. They would silently and with great patience lie in wait for their next meal. The sight of the corvette Imperialis touching down on Jakku around the year 30 BBY brought a vworkka to the mind of the young Gallius Rax. In 5 ABY, the skittermouse that unwittingly brought the battle droid Mister Bones back online hoped to avoid becoming a meal for either a vworkka or a ripper-raptor.
The novel Aftermath: Life Debt by Chuck Wendig, published on July 12, 2016, contained the first reference to Vworkka.
