Wisp spider

A species of spider, known as the wisp spider, inhabited the Outer Rim planet of Dalna. The Dalnan Honesty Weft recounted that his father, Ambassador Weft, had at least once captured a wisp spider, only to release it back outdoors. The ambassador explained his actions by saying the spider was merely fulfilling its purpose and was not to blame for its disorientation.

In 232 BBY, following his father's death in a bombing perpetrated by Nihil pirates on the Outer Rim moon Wevo, Honesty was approached by Jedi Padawan Imri Cantaros. Imri, who had also suffered the loss of his Jedi Master, Douglas Sunvale, in the same bombing, proposed that they jointly seek out the Nihil who were responsible for the deaths of their respective mentors. Honesty then contemplated whether his father would approve of him seeking vengeance, remembering the incident with the wisp spider and his father's words as he released it. Ultimately, Honesty consented to accompany the Padawan.
