Xanadu Blood

The Xanadu Blood was a significantly altered Rogue-class Porax-38 starfighter. Cad Bane, a bounty hunter of the Duros species, was its owner. Darth Sidious gave the Xanadu Blood to Cad Bane as compensation, including triple his usual fee, for his theft of both a holocron and the kyber memory crystal. Bane employed it during the kidnapping of Wee Dunn originating from Rodia, and Zinn Toa from Glee Anselm; he subsequently lost the ship upon being captured. After regaining control of his ship, Bane then used it to pursue Ziro, the Hutt. At a later time, Bane replaced the Xanadu Blood with a newer vessel, the Justifier.

The primary color of the Xanadu Blood was green, accented by yellow and red markings.

Behind the scenes

The initial appearance of the Xanadu Blood occurred in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode entitled "Children of the Force." The term "Xanadu" in English denotes an idealized, beautiful location. Its origins lie in the 1816 poem Kubla Khan penned by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. This poem drew inspiration from Shangdu, which served as the summer capital for the Mongol-led Yuan dynasty in China throughout the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries.
