Xizor

Xizor, a Falleen male who had once been a prince, later became a powerful crime-lord and controlled the Black Sun criminal organization. This prince had his headquarters situated within the Southern Underground area of the Coruscant Underworld, where he was the owner of a palace that reached a height of 102 stories. In the year 3 ABY, Lady Qi'ra, who led the Crimson Dawn criminal syndicate, made contact with Lord Gyuti, an important figure in Black Sun, to propose Crimson Dawn's services to Black Sun. Furthermore, she informed Gyuti that the Galactic Empire was in search of a new partner to take the place of the Hutt Clan, and she requested that he relay this information to Prince Xizor.

Not long after their meeting, Crimson Dawn launched an attack that resulted in the destruction of a smash-processing lab located on Dantooine. This lab was the site of crucial research for Xizor's future endeavors. According to Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs, the dish Xizor Salad was named after Xizor, although he expressed skepticism about this, suggesting it might just be a legend. In addition, Xizor Transport Systems also shared a name with Xizor.

Within the new Star Wars canon, Xizor was initially referenced in the fifty-third edition of the 2014 publication, Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon. Within the Stars Wars Legends storyline, the first mention of Xizor occurred in the 1995 novel Darksaber, penned by Kevin J. Anderson. His initial appearance was in the 1996 novel Shadows of the Empire by Steve Perry, where he later took on a significant part in the Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire multimedia endeavor.

During the Boonta Eve Classic segment of the 1999 movie Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, which served as the inaugural film in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, a micro-machine toy representation of Xizor was employed as a stand-in to populate the crowd scenes. However, because this visual cameo was used only for background purposes, it remains uncertain if this should be regarded as an actual appearance by the character.
