Zharia Vos, a Kiffar female, held the esteemed position of Sheyf over both Kiffex and Kiffu, leading the renowned Kiffu Guardians. In the year 137 ABY, Vos extended a welcoming hand to Droo Rawk, a former Guardian, and her family, allowing them to establish a new life on Kiffex. Shortly thereafter, she commissioned Droo's spouse, "Bantha" Rawk, to engineer a specialized suit of armor designed to sustain life, intended for the Guardians' use. The Rawks, acting on the request of their nephew, Cade Skywalker, ultimately housed the critically injured Imperial Knight Azlyn Rae within this suit while administering healing treatments. Rae sought sanctuary within Vos's palace for a period of two days, after which she journeyed back home. As agents representing Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire voiced their desire to utilize Kiffex or Kiffu as a strategic Imperial outpost, Vos initiated precautionary measures, inviting Droo to reassume her role as a general within the Guardians.
Born into the influential Clan Vos, one of Kiffex's most prominent clans, Zharia Vos was a Kiffar female. During the tumultuous era of the [Second Imperial Civil War](/article/second_imperial_civil_war], Vos resided on the planet of Kiffex and had risen to the rank of Sheyf by 137 ABY. As Sheyf, she commanded the Kiffu Guardians and governed both Kiffex and Kiffu, operating from the Sheyf's Palace located on Kiffex. Throughout the war, the Kiffu Guardians, under Vos's guidance, maintained a stance of neutrality.
Amidst the conflict, Droo Rawk, also of Clan Vos, and her offspring encountered operatives from both Black Sun and Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire at their home on Iego. They discovered that the Empire's pursuit of Cade Skywalker, the nephew of Droo's husband, "Bantha" Rawk, placed them in danger. Consequently, the family resolved to relocate for their safety, and Zharia Vos extended an invitation for them to settle on Kiffex. Given Bantha's expertise as a skilled mechanic, Vos tasked him with the creation of a life-sustaining armor for the Kiffu Guardians. At their newly established compound, he developed a prototype suit that circulated bacta and provided respiratory support to the wearer. As the project neared completion, he communicated his progress to Vos via hologram. Vos expressed her gratitude and offered congratulations before concluding the transmission.
Skywalker brought his critically wounded comrade, the Imperial Knight Azlyn Rae, demanding that the Rawks provide her with healing, while concealing Rae's own desires; she had embraced death and resisted Droo's healing attempts. Upon regaining consciousness, Rae was dismayed to find herself encased within the prototype life-preserving armor crafted by Bantha and Droo, and she expressed her discontent. She departed the compound, seeking refuge at the Sheyf's Palace, where Vos welcomed her as a guest for a duration of two days. Subsequently, Imperial Knight Ganner Krieg arrived, searching for Rae. Vos directed Krieg to her, and the Knights then departed together, heading for the Empire-in-exile's fortress world of Bastion.
During 138 ABY, amidst Darth Krayt's reinvigorated military campaign against his adversaries, Agents representing his Empire reached out to the Kiffu Guardians, proposing the establishment of an Imperial base on either Kiffex or Kiffu; however, their proposition was rejected. As a safeguard against potential actions by Krayt's forces, Sheyf Vos contacted Droo, requesting that she reactivate her commission as a general within the Kiffu Guardians.

Vos possessed long black hair styled into intricate twists, complemented by dark brown eyes and light brown skin. As a member of Clan Vos, Zharia Vos proudly displayed the traditional Kiffar qukuuf facial tattoos, applied at the time of her birth. Zharia demonstrated kindness and respect towards fellow members of Clan Vos, as well as their extended families, extending sanctuary to clanmate Droo Rawk and her family on Kiffex. The Sheyf also remembered that Droo's first husband was a Kiffu Guardian who had given his life in service.
Sheyf Vos later offered hospitality to Azlyn Rae, who was physically and emotionally drained, welcoming her as a guest at the Sheyf's Palace. After contracting "Bantha" Rawk to design a suit of armor for the Kiffu Guardians, Vos acknowledged his excellent work and the speed with which he completed it. Despite her position as Sheyf, Vos chose to engage directly with both Rawk and Ganner Krieg, rather than delegating these interactions. As war engulfed the galaxy, Vos maintained the Kiffu Guardians' neutrality, while also implementing necessary preparations to defend against a potential assault by Darth Krayt's forces.
Zharia Vos made an appearance in the Star Wars: Legacy comic series' Storms story arc, penned by John Ostrander, illustrated by Jan Duursema, and released in 2009. Ostrander and Duursema had previously collaborated on numerous comics centered around Quinlan Vos, a Jedi Knight from the Clone Wars era, a Kiffar member of Clan Vos, and a beloved character within the Expanded Universe. Their intention, as stated in the script of the first issue of Storms, was to establish that Zharia was not a direct descendant of Quinlan. Zharia Vos was created because Ostrander and Duursema had previously established that Clan Vos held the Sheyf position, and they wanted to maintain a strong sense of continuity.
