The Corsair of the Cumulus-class represented a specific type of corsair utilized by the Pirate King, namely Gorian Shard. Its period of operation was around five years following the significant event known as the Battle of Endor.
This Cumulus class manifested as a warship possessing an approximate cruciform, or alternatively, a dagger-like form. A notable feature was its blade-shaped prow. In terms of armament, it boasted four quad laser cannons along with fourteen ventral gunwales. Furthermore, it possessed the capacity to accommodate a minimum of ten fighter craft.
A Cumulus, serving the Pirate Nation under the command of Gorian Shard's gang, participated in the pirate siege on Nevarro. Notwithstanding its inherent strengths, the vessel met its demise when it was shot down and obliterated by both Din Djarin's N-1 starfighter and Bo-Katan Kryze's Gauntlet starfighter amidst the aforementioned siege. This event led directly to the death of Gorian Shard.
A single vessel belonging to the Cumulus-class was observed within the Outer Rim Territories shadowport known as Borgo Prime at approximately 9 ABY.
