On the planet Kullgroon, Rythus hacked a KX-series security droid's head to contact his daughter Kristiss and told her that the stormtrooper security force will be turning over in three days and when their numbers a low they will be able to overpower the stormtroopers and gain their freedom but only if they get the necessary weapons. Kristiss reassured her father that they will get the weapons in time. She turned around to one of her associates and told him that this job will be a lot harder than any other job they had done. She told him they would need to hire someone.
On Batuv Lando was discussing capes with Borkus when they were approached by a hooded figure. The figure pulled Lando aside and revealed themselves as Kristiss. Kristiss asked Lando to help her smuggle weapons to her people so they can free themselves from Imperial occupation. Lando refused to take the job out of the risk of being a target for the Empire. Still persistent, Kristiss told Lando she would buy him a drink and he would recommend someone else. While talking with Kristiss at the bar Brushaun came up and grabbed Lando, trying to take his cape. Brushaun told Lando that he was after him for cheating in a card game on Canto Bight. Brushaun threatened Lando that he will kill him as he is dragged away. Lando an Kristiss leave but Lando told her that he will consider the job. Kristiss kisses Lando, telling him he has until morning to decide.
Back on the Millennium Falcon Lando and L3 discussed on whether to take the job. L3 convinced Lando that this was the best way to clear off debts and do something good at the sametime. Lando invited Kristiss onboard the Falcon but did not allow any of members of her group to join him. Kristiss asked Lando an array of questions and tried to get him to lower the fee. Lando refused and Kristiss stormed off but as she she walked away the ship was attacked by TIE fighters. Lando sprinted down through the ship to the and begun to return fire from the TIE fighters as L3 piloted the ship. The shields started to fail as they approached a moon. Lando told L3 to circle the moon and do a complete drop. L3 told Kristiss to buckle as she made her way towards the moon. When L3 did a complete drop, Lando got a clear opening of the TIE fighters and destroyed the last two. A cheerful Lando rejoined L3 and Kristiss in cockpit, hoping for heaps of praise but L3 told him that he has bigger things to worry about as they approached Kullgroon.
