Infinite Empire

The Infinite Empire was a realm controlled by the Rakatan species, existing before the Imperial Era which commenced in 19 BBY. Despite the limited historical investigation into the Mid Rim desert planet Aleen's history, the Galactic Empire's human-centric scholarship understood that the native [Aleena](/article/aleena], and potentially the Kindalo, were client races of the Infinite Empire, although evidence of occupation was scarce.

Behind the scenes

Within current Star Wars canon, the Infinite Empire appeared in Nexus of Power, a 2016 sourcebook for the Star Wars: Force and Destiny roleplaying game by Fantasy Flight Games. In Star Wars Legends, the Infinite Empire was initially referenced in the 2003 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, created by BioWare and distributed by LucasArts. Later, the Empire debuted in Dawn of the Jedi: Force Storm 1, a comic from Dark Horse, released on February 15, 2012.
