Alora, a human youngling with Force-sensitivity, was kidnapped by the Inquisitorius agents, specifically the Fifth Brother and Seventh Sister. This abduction occurred approximately four years prior to the Battle of Yavin from a transport departing the planet Chandel; she was traveling with her grandmother, Darja. The Rebel Ahsoka Tano discovered Alora's kidnapping when she encountered the dying Darja while probing a deserted freighter. Alora was later saved by Ahsoka's rebel comrades Garazeb Orrelios, Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, and Chopper on Takobo, where the Inquisitors had brought her en route to abducting another Force-sensitive child named Pypey. The rebels then managed to flee with both children and Oora, Pypey's mother, coming to the conclusion that safeguarding children like them was now their duty, given the Galactic Empire's destruction of the Jedi Order.
The character of Alora draws inspiration from, and is named in honor of, Elora Danan from Lucasfilm's Willow film.
