Amee

A human girl named Amee was born on the planet Tatooine circa 38 BBY. She shared a close friendship with Anakin Skywalker, who was then a slave, and she often spent time with him and their mutual friends, Wald and Kitster Banai. In 32 BBY, when Amee was six years old, the group, accompanied by children Seek and Melee, visited Skywalker at Slave Quarters Row. Skywalker, who was in a courtyard working on his podracer, told them that he would be competing in the Boonta Eve Classic podrace the following day.

The other children expressed doubt regarding Skywalker's chances of winning, with Amee pointing out that he had been working on the vehicle for years. Seek then proposed that they all play a ball game, and Amee, along with him, Wald, and Melee, left the courtyard, giggling as they departed. Skywalker would eventually win the podrace and subsequently leave Tatooine. Amee was noticeable for being the only one in her friend group who wore braces, and she also wore a brown dress. She was characterized by blonde hair and a fair complexion.

Behind the scenes

In the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, part of the prequel trilogy, Amee was portrayed by Katie Lucas, who is the daughter of director George Lucas. Katie Lucas was credited under the alias "Jenna Green". Furthermore, in the script, Amee delivers Melee's sole line of dialogue, an error which is also present in the 2017 reference book Star Wars: Geektionary: The Galaxy from A - Z.
