A human male who originated from the desert planet of Tatooine was known as Seek. In the year 32 BBY, he and some companions paid a visit to Anakin Skywalker, a young boy held in slavery, at the Mos Espa spaceport while Skywalker toiled on his podracer. Showing little appreciation for the boy's mechanical aptitude, Seek made a callous remark about Skywalker being crushed during a race, and then suggested they go play ball.
Sometime between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, Seek found himself enslaved alongside his childhood friends Amee and Melee on a moisture farm located on Tatooine. Their freedom was secured when Kitster Banai and Wald, two more friends from their youth, made their way back to Tatooine and compensated the owner of the farm sufficiently to liberate all the workers.
Banai and Wald then sought out Seek, Melee, and Amee. The group departed the farm and gathered around a fire as night fell, conversing about Skywalker and their respective lives. Subsequently, a band of thieves accosted them, demanding that Banai and Wald surrender several energy capsules that they had pilfered from the Galactic Empire. After the thieves obtained the capsules, they met their death at the hands of the Sith assassin Ochi of Bestoon, who then departed with the stolen goods.

Seek, a human boy native to the planet Tatooine, came into existence circa 42 BBY. At the age of ten, specifically in 32 BBY, he and a collection of other youngsters paid a visit to his acquaintance, Anakin Skywalker, within a courtyard situated in Slave Quarters Row in the Mos Espa spaceport. Skywalker was actively engaged in working on his podracer and disclosed his intention to participate in the Boonta Eve Classic podrace scheduled for the following day, prompting expressions of doubt regarding his prospects from the children Kitster Banai, Wald, Amee, and Melee.
Seek displayed such indifference that he proposed the group engage in a ball game. He then heartlessly predicted that Skywalker would suffer a crash during the race, before he and the majority of the group, excluding Banai, departed while chuckling. Contrary to his prediction, Skywalker emerged victorious in the race, leading to his subsequent departure from Tatooine. Banai and Wald also eventually left Tatooine after Sabé and Tonra, a pair of Naboo agents who also saw them offworld, rescued them from slavery. Seek, along with Melee and Amee, remained on Tatooine, but prior to his departure, Banai pledged to return if circumstances permitted. By the time period between 3 ABY and 4 ABY arrived, Seek and his two remaining companions were enslaved by the owner of a moisture farm on Tatooine, where they were put to work.

During that era, Banai and Wald journeyed back to Tatooine and sold an energy capsule that they had stolen from the Galactic Empire to a vendor. Subsequently, the duo approached the proprietor of the farm where Seek and the others were held, intending to secure the trio's freedom. However, after the owner asserted that all three were essential for the farm to endure the season, Banai and Wald utilized the money acquired from selling the capsule to liberate every worker on the farm. Following this, they sought out their newly freed friends, who expressed joy at their reunion. The group then departed the farm and gathered around a fire as night descended, engaging in conversations about their lives and Skywalker, whom Seek conceded had possessed a special quality.
As Banai began to suggest that the group attempt to locate Skywalker, a contingent of thieves confronted the group of friends, and one discharged a blaster, striking Banai in the shoulder. Seek assumed a crouched stance with a raised fist as the thieves demanded that Banai and Wald relinquish the remaining energy capsules, revealing that they had killed the vendor who had purchased the other capsule from them. Banai initially claimed that there were no more, but upon the thief's threat to Melee, Banai and Wald disclosed the remaining capsules and handed them over.

Subsequently, the thieves were all eliminated by the Sith assassin Ochi of Bestoon, who had previously encountered Banai and Wald. The assassin seized the capsules and acknowledged the pair before departing without inflicting harm upon Seek or the others. Ochi delivered the capsules to the Sith Lord Darth Vader, who was, in fact, Skywalker, and mentioned his encounter with Seek's group, noting that he had spared their lives. When the assassin inquired whether he should return to eliminate the group, Vader commanded him to leave them undisturbed.
During his younger years, Seek was not impressed by Skywalker's mechanical abilities and behaved cruelly towards him; however, as an adult, he came to the realization that Skywalker was indeed special. He had red hair, fair, freckled skin, and dark eyes.
Seek was brought to life by Oliver Walpole in the 1999 prequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. While his name was not explicitly mentioned in the film, it was included in the credits. Walpole is the son of the film's set decorator, Peter Walpole, and accompanied his father to Leavesden Studios to view the sets. Given that Oliver was of similar stature to Jake Lloyd, who portrayed Anakin Skywalker, he tested out one of the podracers featured in the film. Director George Lucas noticed Oliver in the vehicle and suggested that he participate in a screen test. Two weeks later, Oliver received confirmation that he had secured a speaking role in the film and was flown out to Tunisia with his mother, Alison, for a ten-day shoot.
