A moisture farm situated on the desert planet of Tatooine was operated by a human owner who utilized enslaved individuals to run its operations. This farm featured a tan-colored structure, a nearby fence, and at least four moisture vaporators. Sometime between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, the owner was seated at a table in front of the farm building, accompanied by an astromech droid, when Kitster Banai (a human) and Wald (a Rodian) arrived with the intention of securing the freedom of three farm workers: Amee, Melee, and Seek.
Initially, the owner declined their request, stating that everyone was needed for the current season. However, the pair then presented a sufficient amount of money to purchase the freedom of all the workers. Banai announced to the workers he didn't know that they were now free to take anything they wanted from the farm and leave after the astromech disabled their implants. Subsequently, Banai and Wald were filled with joy as they reunited with their three companions and departed the farm together.
The moisture farm made an appearance in the fiftieth issue of the 2020 comic-book series entitled Star Wars: Darth Vader. Greg Pak penned the issue, Adam Gorham provided the illustrations of the farm, and Marvel Comics published it on September 18, 2024.
