During the era of the Third Galactic War, a Twi'lek major named Anri served the Sith Empire. This female was the commanding officer of Raven Squad.
Anri, once a slave, ascended through the Imperial Military structure thanks to the social overhauls championed by Darth Malgus and continued under Darth Marr's leadership. By the time the Third Galactic War broke out, she had achieved the rank of major and led Raven Squad, a highly regarded special forces unit. Initially, they served under Darth Malora, and later under Darth Malgus. Anri was one of the 8% of Non-Human Imperials who were part of the Imperial Military during the Third Galactic War.

Anri interpreted her rise through the ranks as a result of the meritocratic system of the Sith Empire; she believed that individuals advanced in power and status by demonstrating their superiority in overcoming obstacles. Her exceptional leadership abilities, combined with her dark sense of humor, made her a popular figure among her troops. Although her outspoken nature sometimes made officers and Sith question her loyalty, her troops were well aware of her unwavering commitment to the Sith Empire's ultimate victory.
Major Anri made her debut in Patch 5.10.0 of Star Wars: The Old Republic, titled Jedi Under Siege. She can join the main character as a companion Non-Player Character. Helen Sadler provides her voice, an actress who previously lent her talents to Star Wars: The Old Republic as Jedi Master Surro. According to Charles Boyd, the game's Creative Director, Anri is a revised version of a character he originally created years before Jedi Under Siege was released; she was intended to be an antagonist in the Republic Trooper storyline, but was ultimately cut from the game.
In the Mek-Sha storyline, Republic players will encounter Vice-Admiral Dol Narlock attempting to activate the station's failsafe, and Anri. If the player is a Loyalist, Anri will immediately surrender, not wanting to face someone who had defeated the Sith Emperor. Narlock later informs the player that Anri escaped from his most secure ship, the Aphelion III. Conversely, if the player chooses the Saboteur path, they can either kill Narlock and allow Anri to activate the failsafe, or assist Narlock.
Imperial players will once again fight alongside Anri during the mission to sabotage the Republic fleet that is refueling on Mek-Sha, the Meridian Complex assault to destroy the Republic's advanced Meridian Complex shipyard, and the Invasion of Manaan to secure kolto for the Empire while opposing the Republic's Binexan-class Destroyer.
If the player is playing as a Sith Inquisitor, they can find common ground with Anri when discussing her views on the Empire's collaboration with the slaver zealots of the Brothers on Mek-Sha.
Players of any sex can flirt with Anri at various points, potentially leading to a kiss at the conclusion of the Manaan storyline. After this point, she will send the player romantic messages via mail following significant plot developments.
