B1-CC14 was a B1-series battle droid possessing masculine programming. This particular droid served the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars in their conflict against the Galactic Republic.
Near the conclusion of the Clone Wars, he was stationed on the Obrexta III, a Separatist cruiser. This cruiser's mission was to transport the captured clone trooper CT-6116 from the planet Coruscant to Serenno. During the journey, Republic forces attacked the cruiser, resulting in significant damage. Realizing the ship could not reach its destination, B1-CC14 activated the emergency beacon before initiating a random hyperspace jump. This jump led the ship to Ponemah Terminal, a desert planet, where it crashed, causing B1-CC14 to lose power. Approximately fifty years later, an ion storm re-energized some of the ship's systems, including the emergency broadcast. The signal attracted several pirate groups, who believed the Obrexta III contained the legendary lost treasure belonging to the Sith Lord Count Dooku. When one group of pirates successfully boarded the cruiser, B1-CC14 briefly reactivated and initiated a failsafe protocol. This protocol activated all B2-series super battle droids on board to eliminate the intruders. The battle droid then deactivated once more and was ultimately destroyed when the Obrexta III was consumed in an explosion.
