Berzite's moon
A moon served as the natural satellite orbiting the planet Berzite, which itself resided within the Yost system of the galaxy. Possessing a breathable atmosphere, this habitable satellite was initially designated as a potential location for the rebellion's primary base. However, these plans were disrupted when the Galactic Empire established a blockade around the moon.
History
The rebellion, after a comprehensive search to find a safe world to house their base, discovered that Berzite's moon was a suitable world. This occurred three years prior to the Battle of Yavin. The location was found by cross-referencing Republic and Lasat star charts. The journey was postponed because the rebellion's acquired Imperial cruiser-carrier lacked the necessary fuel for the voyage. Consequently, the Spectres embarked on a mission to steal fuel from Horizon Base. During this operation, "Chopper," an astromech droid belonging to the rebels, became separated and inadvertently boarded an Imperial cargo ship as a stowaway. Onboard, he encountered and befriended a protocol droid known as AP-5, and together, they succeeded in commandeering the ship. Upon learning of the rebels' intention to establish their base on the moon, AP-5 cautioned them about an Imperial trap that had been recently set there by blockading Berzite. Instead, the droid suggested the planet Atollon as an alternative location.
