The Corporate Alliance, whose headquarters was located on Murkhana, functioned as a conglomerate in the latter years of the Galactic Republic. During the Secessionist Movement, it committed its assets to the Confederacy of Independent Systems, which resulted in its magistrate, Passel Argente, gaining a position on the Separatist Council throughout the Clone Wars. Although the Corporate Alliance aimed to provide ground reinforcements to the Separatists during the First Battle of Geonosis, the Galactic Republic's orbital blockade prevented this. The Geonosians deployed thousands of Nantex starfighters in an attempt to breach the blockade, but the Republic ultimately emerged victorious.
Senator Voe Atell represented the Alliance in the Separatist Parliament. The Corporate Alliance continued its operations at some point during the reign of the First Galactic Empire. In one instance, Phoenix Cell's Commander Jun Sato tried to deceive the Imperial Admiral Brom Titus by asserting that he and his team were affiliated with the Corporate Alliance. Nevertheless, Admiral Titus was not deceived.
