Detailed Plot
The Residence of Master Infil'a
Darth Vader arrives on a boulder within a forest glade situated at the foot of Mount Pasvaal. Arex, the training droid, mocks him, asserting that the Dark side of the Force is no match for the Light side of the Force. Ignoring the droid's goading, Vader employs his Force powers to dismantle the droid and integrate its components into his damaged armor.
Simultaneously, in Am'balaar City, constructed around a dam, Jedi Master Kirak Infil'a contemplates his return to the planet. He pays a visit to Mareena, a mechanic who, along with her child Colli, is repairing an engine. Master Infil'a informs her that he requires his Delta-7B Aethersprite-class light interceptor. Mareena responds that the ship requires some fine-tuning but will soon be ready.
Master Infil'a shares with Mareena and Colli that he experienced a great surge of pain and fear as his fellow Jedi were being eliminated throughout the galaxy. Mareena tells Master Infil'a that she has heard reports of the Jedi being traitors. Colli adds that she never believed those reports. Master Infil'a believes he eliminated a Sith executioner and pledges to destroy his Sith master. When Mareena's husband Jogg inquires about the situation, Mareena explains that Master Infil'a is about to embark on a mission. Master Infil'a adds that he is eager to depart. Mareena asks Infil'a if he is certain the Sith is not coming here. Infil'a believes Vader, whom he describes as a "poor, deluded creature," to be deceased.
Vader's Fury
Having repaired his armor utilizing Arex's parts, Vader proceeds to confront Master Infil'a and seize his lightsaber. Back at the garage, Colli is captivated by Master Infil'a's levitational abilities, which he demonstrates by lifting engines. Infil'a explains that the Force renders all things light. He promises to instruct her in the ways of the Force upon his return from his mission. Infil'a intends to re-establish the Jedi Order on Mount Pasvaal.
At that instant, Master Infil'a detects Darth Vader's presence through the Force. Upon exiting the garage, he discovers the Sith apprentice atop a dam. Lord Vader challenges Master Infil'a to conclude their duel. He instructs Mareena and her family to remain indoors while he ascends the dam to engage the Sith in a lightsaber battle. Infil'a gains the advantage by damaging Vader's right arm. Three armed security personnel attempt to intervene, but Lord Vader employs the Force to hurl them down the dam.
Appalled by Vader's disregard for sentient life, Master Infil'a uses the Force to levitate the officers to safety. Confronting Vader, he accuses the Sith apprentice of being a monster. Vader concurs before employing his Force powers to breach the dam's structures. Master Infil'a attempts to counteract Vader's damage through the Force. When Master Infil'a implores Vader not to harm the innocent, Lord Vader dismisses him as a fool and uses the Force to seize his lightsaber. After Force choking Infil'a, Vader throws him down the ramparts. The Jedi Master is swept away in a flood that devastates Am'balaar City. Vader observes as the city is submerged in water released from the dam.
