Ellé

Ellé, originally known as Elleen, was a human female who worked as an aide for Naboo's Governor, Sio Bibble. As the Clone Wars began, she became one of Senator Padmé Amidala's handmaidens, at which point she changed her given name.

Along with Moteé, who also joined as one of Amidala's handmaidens, she was interviewed by Dormé, another of Amidala's handmaiden. The two were employed to take the places of Cordé and Versé, handmaidens who had lost their lives during an attempt to assassinate the senator.

Ellé provided assistance when Sabé, Amidala's decoy, substituted for Amidala soon after the war started. Sabé, however, noticed that Amidala seemed to be withdrawing and spending less of her time with her staff and friends. Because of Amidala's secret marriage to Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker, Ellé and Moteé began to serve Amidala in a more conventional handmaiden role, providing service but not functioning as friends and confidantes. Dormé suggested that Ellé and Moteé should be told about the marriage.
