Fry

During the High Republic Era, Fry served as a human counselor on the Galactic Republic prison ship named the Restitution. She collaborated with Councilor Jon Wittick, but often displayed a harsher attitude towards the Restitution's prisoners compared to him. Following the Battle of Galov, when the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order captured a number of Nihil marauders and transferred them to the Restitution, Fry and Wittick supervised their arrival. Among the Nihil was Tempest Runner Lourna Dee, who had evaded Republic detection by assuming a false identity; Fry frequently clashed with her.

The presence of Dee on the Restitution ultimately triggered an attack on the ship by her adversary, the former Tempest Runner Pan Eyta. Fry, Wittick, and a number of prisoners, including Dee, survived the initial onslaught and were compelled to unite against the attackers. During an assault by Nihil scav droids, Fry suffered the loss of an arm and sustained a serious abdominal injury. The group attempted to evade the advancing droids by using a maintenance shaft, but Fry lacked the necessary strength to proceed. Consequently, Fry opted to remain behind, giving her life to impede the droids' progress.
