Hanar-Ye

Hanar-Ye was a Voss male, as designated by their gender, who resided on the planet of Voss. His existence predated the Galactic War that occurred between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Being one of the Force-sensitive Mystics among his species, Hanar-Ye died a considerable time before 3640 BBY, and his spirit lingered within the Shrine of Healing located on Voss. He joined fellow Mystics Shanatka-Lo and Laeras-Wu there, with the purpose of imparting knowledge of Force rituals to other Mystics and healers. At the request of the Mystic Valen-Da, these three spirits instructed the Sith Lord Fulminiss in a healing ritual. Despite Fulminiss' corruption of the ritual using the dark side of the Force, the three spirits maintained their faith in the wisdom of their fellow Mystic.

Biography

On the planet of Voss, the Voss individual known as Hanar-Ye, identified as male, experienced birth and spent his entire life on his homeworld. As one who was Force-sensitive, Hanar-Ye rose to become a Mystic, possessing the ability to see into the future. Though Hanar-Ye's death occurred well before 3640 BBY, his spirit remained in the Shrine of Healing on Voss, alongside the spirits of Shanatka-Lo and Laeras-Wu, who were also Mystics. These three spirits shared their accumulated knowledge with visiting Mystics and healers, including the secrets of a healing ritual designed to heal a patient's mind by drawing upon the collective strength of many. In the year 3640 BBY, amidst the backdrop of the Galactic War fought between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, the Mystic Valen-Da paid a visit to the Shrine, accompanied by the Sith Lord known as Fulminiss.

Hanar-Ye and his companions, trusting Valen-Da due to her status as a Mystic and therefore considered infallible in Voss eyes, imparted the healing ritual to Fulminiss. However, the Sith corrupted the ritual, transforming it into a tool that tore open the minds of its victims. The three spirits bore witness as Fulminiss employed the ritual against the healers who had accompanied Valen-Da. Subsequently, Valen-Da and Fulminiss departed the Shrine, but the spirits observed Valen-Da leaving behind a holoprojector in the chamber's corner, containing a message intended for the Voss commando named Tala-Reh. Shortly after, the Jedi Knight known as the Hero of Tython arrived at the Shrine in search of Valen-Da. Hanar-Ye and the other spirits watched as the deranged healers attacked the Jedi, forcing the Knight to defend themselves with lethal force. The three Mystics then materialized before the Knight, explaining Fulminiss's corruption of the ritual and revealing Valen-Da's message for Tala-Reh before fading away.
