A father, who was a male being, was the sire of the crime lord known as Jabba Desilijic Tiure. He was the offspring of both Mama and Papa.
The progenitor of Jabba was initially referenced, though without a given name, within the existing Star Wars canon inside Star Wars Super Graphic: A Visual Guide to a Galaxy Far, Far Away. This reference work was authored by Tim Leong and put out by Chronicle Books during the year 2017. In the Star Wars Legends storyline, Jabba's father was identified as Zorba Desilijic Tiure, a Hutt crime boss. Zorba's initial appearance was in the 1992 book called Zorba the Hutt's Revenge, penned by Paul and Hollace Davids, with illustrations by Karl Kesel. Despite Zorba's presence in the canon as well, there was no link established between him and Jabba.
