Ebor was a male member of the Tiure family. He was the son of the Hutts Mama and Papa, and the older brother of the Hutt crime lord Ziro Desilijic Tiure. Mama favored Ebor because of his superior behavior compared to his sibling. Ebor also had another brother, who served as the father of the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure. Among her offspring, Mama held Ebor in the highest regard.
Ebor died during Ziro's childhood. Despite Ziro's eventual avarice, typical of Hutts in the criminal underworld, his life was characterized by paranoia and possessiveness. This led him to constantly operate under the weight of his brother's past achievements. In 21 BBY, while being hunted by both the Galactic Republic and the Hutt Council, Ziro sought refuge at his mother's house on the planet Nal Hutta at dinnertime. During this visit, Mama reminisced about Ebor's refined manners and expressed hope for his eternal peace.
The character Ebor was initially referenced in "Hunt for Ziro," the ninth installment of the third season of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which was broadcast on November 12, 2010.
