Jerid's mother

During the High Republic Era, a human boy named Jerid was born circa 393 BBY. His mother, a female individual, also had a younger daughter named Vemian. By 382 BBY, Jerid had become one of the Littles, which were children involved in the Path of the Open Hand cult. This group believed that the Force should not be wielded. Jerid once recounted that his mother had told him that resisting the temptation to use the Force made following the Path easier.

In that year, within the market of Ferdan, a town situated on the Outer Rim planet Dalna, Marda Ro, an Evereni member of the Path overseeing the Littles, and the Littles themselves observed Kevmo Zink, a Jedi Padawan, utilize the Force to move flowers in the air. Following Jezra'lin, one of the Littles, expressing a desire to be Force-sensitive, Jerid responded that he was not and repeated his mother's sentiment.
