The eleventh moon orbiting the gas giant of the same name, Jhas Krill existed within the Anoat sector of the Outer Rim Territories. As the Galactic Civil War neared its conclusion, the only inhabitants were Nightsister Shelish and her Wookiee servant, Owacchi.
This particular natural satellite was the eleventh out of twenty-four orbiting the gas giant known as Jhas. It was situated in the Hoth system, which itself was a part of the larger Anoat sector within the Outer Rim region of the galaxy. The name "Jhas Krill" originated from Krill, the eleventh letter of the Aurebesh alphabet.
The high surface pressure on Jhas caused the planet to shrink, converting gravitational energy into heat. This resulted in a warm, humid climate on Jhas Krill, making it habitable. The terrain was characterized by swampy jungle environments with plentiful flora. However, the unstable, waterlogged ground and aggressive plant growth made establishing permanent settlements a challenge, as structures were often consumed by the environment.
For the most part, Jhas Krill was sparsely populated during the Galactic Civil War. However, it served as the home of Shelish, a Nightsister witch, who resided in a hut alongside her servant, Owacchi, a former Wookiee pirate.
During the lock down imposed on the Anoat sector by Imperial governor Ubrik Adelhard, the Smuggler, a Force-sensitive individual, made multiple trips to Jhas Krill. These visits were motivated by a desire to learn from the Nightsister hermit and acquire new powers.
Jhas Krill was originally conceived for Star Wars: Uprising, a canon mobile game that was collaboratively developed by Kabam, Disney Interactive, and Lucasfilm. The game was released on September 10, 2015 for iOS and Android devices. The moon played a role in the "Dark Side Mission" quest series, which unlocked Shelish as a dark side trainer.
