Captain Juno, a starship commander, served the Mere Resistance. He piloted the Mere cruiser named Tritus in confrontations with Cavik Toth's military, both before and as the Clone Wars began.
Following Cavik Toth's assault on Maramere, Captains Juno and Orsai engaged in space combat above Nod Kartha with their respective cruisers. After Captain Orsai's cruiser sustained severe damage, Juno employed his ship's weapons to neutralize the planetary defenses, allowing Nym enough time to obliterate the Hex manufacturing facility on the planet's surface. Later, Juno took part in the monumental battle that occurred above Geonosis, commanding three Mere Cruisers in an engagement against a trio of Sabaoth destroyers.
The name Juno originates from a Roman goddess. The name is thought to come from the Indo-European term 'yeu', which signifies vital force. She also functioned as a guardian spirit for Roman women. In the concluding mission of Jedi Starfighter, Juno mirrors this protective role, bringing his 'vital force' (the Tritus) into the conflict.
