The Kadavo system, a star system situated within Wild Space, was the location of the planet named Kadavo. The primary language spoken on Kadavo was Galactic Basic Standard. The Zygerrian Slave Empire at one point established a slave processing facility on Kadavo's surface, overseen by a Zygerrian Keeper known as Agruss. During the Clone Wars in 20 BBY, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Galactic Republic initiated an attack on this slave processing facility. This facility had been utilized by the Zygerrian Slave Empire to enslave a colony of Togruta. The Republic forces successfully destroyed the facility during the battle, liberating the Togrutas from their enslaved state.
The initial appearance of the Kadavo system within the new Star Wars canon occurred in "Slaves of the Republic," which was the twelfth episode of the fourth season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television show. This episode was originally broadcast on December 2, 2011. The system's identification was later made in "Escape from Kadavo," the thirteenth episode of the same fourth season, which was broadcast on January 6, 2012. Conversely, in the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Kadavo system was first seen in The Clone Wars 5, the fifth issue of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Slaves of the Republic miniseries, penned by Henry Gilroy in 2009.
