Korrus, a world found in both the Outer Rim Territories and the New Territories, existed within the K-4 grid square of the Standard Galactic Grid. This planet was linked via a hyperspace route to both Muunilinst and Ord Trasi. During the Galactic Civil War, specifically around 5 ABY, Korrus was a supporter of the Imperial Military against the New Republic. Fleet Admiral Gallius Rax identified Korrus as one of three Outer Rim planets, along with Belladoon and Zhadalene, under Imperial control; he presented these holdings to his new Imperial Shadow Council that year as the Empire's potential advantage in the ongoing conflict.
The 2016 novel Aftermath: Life Debt, the second book in Chuck Wendig's Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy, marked the initial mention of Korrus.
