Level 1997

Level 1997 was a questionable district situated on the city-planet known as Coruscant. Anandra Milon and her sibling Santigo Milon encountered a couple of lawbreakers there to talk about potential work, however they were compelled to escape the location when Imperials showed up at the cantina where their meeting was happening.

Description

Situated above Level 1996, Level 1997 existed as a district on the city-planet of Coruscant. This level was characterized by numerous industrial compactors, which frequently emitted sparks into the adjacent streets. At least one cantina was established within this level, alongside a variety of entertainment venues distinguished by signage featuring pastel pink and blue hues. The air of the level was thick with the odors of soot and Human waste.

History

During her youth, Anandra Milon, a native of Level 3204 who originated from the planet Alderaan, secretly visited the level as part of a dare with her schoolmates, capturing a holocam image before returning home. She later revisited the level at sixteen years old, following the destruction of her homeworld, an event that prompted the Galactic Empire to attempt the arrest or relocation of all Alderaanian individuals residing on Coruscant. On Level 1997, she and her brother Santigo Milon convened with a Pau'an criminal and his Herglic partner within a cantina, where the criminals presented Anandra with a job offer as a delivery person.

After she declined the job, because it would necessitate being separated from her younger brother, Anandra and Santigo were compelled to escape when a stormtrooper and a member of the Coruscant underworld police entered the cantina. The stormtrooper pursued them, following the children down to Level 1996. The Herglic also gave chase and ultimately killed the trooper to aid Anandra.
