In the deleted scene, Merian is shown seated in a repulsorpod together with Soma, Aldrete, and Antilles within the Galactic Senate Building located on the planet Coruscant. This occurs when Queen Padmé Amidala makes a call for a Vote of No Confidence aimed at Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum. Subsequently, Antilles, known as Bail Organa during the production phase, rises to formally second the motion.
