Despite his confidence in besting Jedi Generals Luminara Unduli and [Quinlan Vos], who were leading the Galactic Republic's clone troopers, Linwodo's forces were ultimately defeated. Subsequently, the Republic's Ranger Corps located and destroyed the droid general after the battle.

After the setbacks at Metalorn and Boz Pity, Linwodo went to Kashyyyk. There, he was the commanding officer of the droid army's assault on Kachirho city. The Confederacy aimed to seize Kachirho to access the data vaults of the Claatuvac Guild of Wookiee cartographers and navigators, as well as the planet's key hyperspace routes. Opposing the droid general were the Wookiee warriors of the Kachirho Wookiee Militia led by General Tarfful, along with Republic clone troopers under the command of Jedi Generals Luminara Unduli and [Quinlan Vos]. Linwodo had studied the battlefield records of both Jedi Generals before the battle. As the Republic prepared and the droid general's forces landed, Clone Commander CC-1004 "Gree" detected the activation of the droid army's main power generators and was instructed by Grand Master Yoda to begin defending Kachirho.
During the battles on Kashyyyk, clone troopers throughout the galaxy received orders from Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine, secretly the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious, to execute their Jedi officers following the Order 66 directive. The implementation of Order 66 caused chaos among the Republic forces, enabling Linwodo's troops to advance and secure a beachhead for their intended assault on Kachirho. Despite these gains, the clone troopers quickly reorganized under the leadership of Clone Commander Faie, which led to the defeat of Linwodo's forces. The Republic's Ranger Corps scouts later found and destroyed the tactical droid after the battle.
