Lochi fruit, consumed by the Zabraks, was a fruit with a pink, spiny shell and was edible. During the High Republic Era, some of this fruit was stored on the Nihil I'nah's cruiser in one of the vessel's storage areas.
In 229 BBY, Zyle Keem, an aspiring pirate, pilfered a quantity of lochi fruit while aboard the cruiser. While secretly listening to a meeting in the briefing room between I'nah and her crew's, Keem consumed the fruit after peeling it, but was soon discovered. Feigning ignorance like a child, Keem dropped the lochi peels on the floor time after time to irritate the Nihil while asking where additional food could be found. Eventually, a Trandoshan Nihil escorted Keem away from the briefing room.
Escape from Valo, a junior novel from 2024 by Daniel José Older and Alyssa Wong, featured lochi fruit as part of Phase III of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.
