I'nah

A female Togruta known as I'nah served as a captain within the Nihil during the High Republic Era. She and her crew, consisting of approximately fifty individuals, patrolled the Stormwall - a hyperspace barrier that separated the Occlusion Zone from the rest of the Republic's space - after seizing a cruiser from the Galactic Republic. In the year 229 BBY, Niv Drendow Apruk, a scientist affiliated with the Nihil, insisted that I'nah journey to Valo, a planet located in the Outer Rim, to obtain mycopram for his scientific investigations. Despite her initial refusal and subsequent disagreement with Apruk, she ultimately agreed to transport him to Valo.

Biography

During the High Republic Era, lived I'nah, a female Togruta, who suffered an injury that resulted in the loss of one of her lekku. She became a member of the Nihil marauders, assuming leadership of a crew of roughly fifty individuals. After commandeering a cruiser belonging to the Galactic Republic, she took on the role of captain of the ship, guiding her crew. For a time, the crew's activities involved patrolling the Stormwall, a hyperspace barrier that marked the boundary between the Occlusion Zone and the remainder of Republic space. At some point, she permitted Tanana Keem, a pirate, and her crew to utilize her cruiser as a base of operations for their raids.

I'nah argued with Niv Dendrow Apruk (pictured) about traveling to Valo.

In 229 BBY, I'nah was present at a meeting held in the ship's briefing room, along with several members of her crew and Niv Drendow Apruk, a scientist from the Nihil. The gathering devolved into a contentious discussion covering various topics, including the establishment of ration policies for nearby populations. Zyle Keem, Tanana's child and an aspiring pirate, secretly listened in on the meeting, overhearing I'nah and her associates from the antechamber just outside the room. Apruk insisted that I'nah make a journey to Valo, a planet situated in the Outer Rim, with the intention of acquiring mycopram for his experiments from the Innovator, a state-of-the-art research vessel that had sunk in Lake Lonisa on that world. The Togruta, in response, tapped a knife on the meeting table and refused, making it clear that her ship would not be going anywhere.

After reminding him that his senior—the Nihil scientist Boolan—made Apruk redundant, she reiterated her refusal and threatened to sever Apruk's hand were he to commandeer the vessel's steering console. Despite Apruk's further attempts to convince her of his plan, she only mocked him and continued making idle chatter about how deep Lake Lonisa must be. Shortly afterward, a Trandoshan Nihil escorted Zyle away, leaving Apruk to continue arguing with a disinterested I'nah. Eventually, I'nah decided to travel to Valo, and Apruk disembarked to seek mycopram.

Personality and traits

I'nah, in her capacity as a Nihil captain, displayed confidence as a leader, not hesitating to threaten Apruk. She showed a dismissive attitude towards the scientist's concerns and considered his suggestion to search the Innovator to be absurd, briefly ridiculing him before shifting her attention elsewhere. While listening to I'nah and Apruk's conversation, Zyle Keem felt the Togruta's voice sounded oily. By 229 BBY, I'nah had lost one of her striped lekku, and a scarred lump remained.

Equipment

I'nah was in possession of a knife while she was in the meeting room of the Republic cruiser she had commandeered.
