I'nah's cruiser

The Nihil marauder I'nah commanded a cruiser after seizing the starship from the forces of the Galactic Republic, using it along with her crew to patrol the Stormwall hyperspace barrier established by the Nihil. In 229 BBY, during a meeting held within the cruiser's briefing room, I'nah and the Nihil scientist Niv Drendow Apruk engaged in a dispute regarding a potential journey to the Outer Rim planet Valo to acquire essential experiment materials. Zyle Keem, an aspiring pirate who had secretly listened to their conversation, absconded with an escape shuttle from the vessel and made their way to Valo, intending to find materials to plunder.

Description

This cruiser was capable of accommodating a crew of roughly fifty individuals, and it boasted a spacious hangar with metal flooring, large enough to house multiple ships. It was outfitted with engines, a navigation system, several Nihil escape shuttles, and a hyperdrive system incorporating a Path engine. The cruiser's interior included an armory, a storage area, and a kitchen. The briefing room had a small waiting area and a table, and it was connected to at least one ventilation shaft. The ship's primary hangar, safeguarded by a locked door, was located on the same deck as its escape pods. Following its acquisition by Nihil marauders, the ship's interior began to show signs of wear and tear. In at least one corridor, blue paint was splattered, the bulkheads were damaged, and a thick fluid dripped from exposed pipes.

History

Sometime during the High Republic Era, the Togruta named I'nah seized control of the cruiser from the Galactic Republic. As a member of the Nihil, she assumed the role of captain of the ship and commanded her crew of approximately fifty individuals. The cruiser was used to patrol the Stormwall, the hyperspace barrier that the Nihil used to isolate the Occlusion Zone from the rest of Republic space, for an unspecified time. At some point, she allowed the pirate Tanana Keem and her crew to utilize her cruiser as a base of operations for their raids.

Zyle Keem fled the cruiser in one of its escape pods to travel to Valo.

In the year 229 BBY, Keem and her crew arrived at the cruiser aboard their ships—the Venomed Scabbard and the Grim Devourer II—to trade goods prior to their heist targeting the astronomical object known as Quence. She made the decision to leave her child, the aspiring pirate Zyle Keem, on the vessel, considering the undertaking too dangerous for them. Despite Zyle's objections, Tanana insisted that they could use their time to explore the Nihil cruiser and gather information for her. Following their mother's departure from the hangar, Zyle wandered through the ship's disorganized corridors, obtaining some lochi fruit for a snack and locating the ship's armory.

Later, while I'nah was holding a meeting with members of her crew and the Nihil scientist Niv Drendow Apruk in the ship's briefing room, Zyle spied on them. When Apruk advocated for a trip to the Outer Rim planet Valo to obtain materials for an experiment, the captain ridiculed him and refused his request. After Zyle was caught eavesdropping, a Trandoshan Nihil escorted them to the cruiser's galley. The aspiring pirate stole the Trandoshan's access card, acquired food and weapons from the ship, and then escaped to Valo in an escape shuttle with the intention of looting valuable medical supplies. Eventually, I'nah also resolved to take her cruiser to Valo, and Apruk disembarked to search for mycopram. Tanana later expressed her disappointment with Zyle for disobeying her instructions to remain on the Nihil cruiser.
