Master Hyor-ka's dao-ben steamed bun shop, a business enterprise, belonged to Master Hyor-ka around the time that the rebellion on Akiva occurred. This establishment was situated in the Outer Rim planet Akiva's capital city, Myrra, specifically in an alley adjacent to the junk dealer Temmin Wexley's spare parts shop. While Hyor-ka was the owner, the shop offered dao-ben steamed buns for sale; these were a kind of bread. The shop featured a partial roof covering made of tarp, and an awning that was situated above its entrance.
During 4 ABY, Wexley sought refuge beneath a tarp on the roof of Master Hyor-ka's dao-ben steamed bun shop, in order to spy on thugs who were employed by the crime lord Surat Nuat. The thugs noticed Wexley, and subsequently attacked him, which resulted in the dealer being dislodged from his concealed location and falling from the roof. Gravity caused Wexley to descend, hitting the shop's awning before landing in the street.
Master Hyor-ka's dao-ben steamed bun shop was featured in Aftermath, a novel authored by Chuck Wendig in 2015 and published as the initial book in the Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.
