During the Galactic Civil War, a male Human named Mercious Bragg held the rank of sergeant within the Intelligence Division of the Royal Naboo Security Forces. After the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, a terrorist attack struck a portion of Theed. Sergeant Bragg, frequently present at the capital's local cantina, received the assignment to identify those responsible. Aided by a trooper loyal to the RSF, Bragg launched an investigation into the headquarters of the four primary criminal syndicates on Naboo: the Skaak Tippers, Borvo the Hutt's criminal empire, the Darkwalkers, and the Mummers. Eventually, Sergeant Bragg determined that the Mummers had perpetrated the attack. Subsequently, the Royal Naboo Security Forces conducted a raid on the Mummer bunker, effectively eliminating the Mummer's ability to commit further acts of terror.
Mercious Bragg appeared as a non-player character in the video game Star Wars Galaxies from 2003, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. The character of Mercious Bragg was integrated into the game as part of the "Legacy Quest" with the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
