Around 41 ABY, Nyss Nenn served as an operative for the One Sith. His mission involved the abduction of both Jaden Korr and the Force-sensitive clone known as Soldier.
As one of the earliest agents of the One Sith within the galaxy, Nyss Nenn undertook missions for nearly a century before the organization's existence became revealed. In 41 ABY, Darth Wyyrlok assigned him the task of pursuing Jaden Korr within the Unknown Regions. Nyss was chosen for this assignment due to his distinctive, innate capability to sever a Force-sensitive's connection to the Force. Nenn's directives included capturing Soldier, the sole successful attempt to clone a mixture of Jedi and Sith DNA. Furthermore, he was tasked with abducting Jaden Korr and substituting him with an Iteration, as the One Sith were under the impression that Korr was succumbing to the dark side prematurely.
Nenn observed, alongside Wyyrlok through a remote cybernetic eye, the mission of the Anzat Kell Douro on the Frozen moon; upon learning of his demise, Nenn received orders to assume control of the mission to locate Jaden Korr, as part of a scheme to infiltrate the New Jedi Order. However, the clone exhibited instability, prompting the Sith to seek additional DNA from either Jaden or his Community clone Soldier. Subsequently, Nenn departed from Korriban, accompanied by his twin sister Syll and the Iteration in suspended animation.
He tracked them to Fhost, and investigated the clone's vessel, discovering only the deranged and near-death clone Two-Blade, whom he swiftly eliminated. He then discreetly boarded a medical supply vessel targeted for hijacking by the clones. Following the hijacking, he advanced toward the cockpit, intending to seize Soldier. He then encountered the clone Runner and the captive spacer Khedryn Faal. Nenn launched an assault, killing Runner in a brutal confrontation, and captured Faal. Successfully ambushing and eliminating the clone Hunter, he then ambushed Soldier within the cockpit. Capitalizing on the element of surprise, he subdued and captured Soldier. Subsequently, he contacted Jaden Korr, proposing Faal's release in exchange for Jaden's surrender. Jaden complied, venturing into space in a hardsuit, but Khedryn and Soldier managed to regain control of the vessel, compelling Nyss to escape in an escape pod. He contacted Syll in their scout vessel, instructing her to destroy Khedryn's escape pod. However, Jaden redirected the blasts back toward the scout vessel, resulting in Syll's death. Upon Nyss's return to the ship and discovery of this, he became consumed with avenging Jaden Korr. After some time, he tracked Jaden and the clone to a mysterious Rakatan space station, which was revealed to be the entity that had summoned the clones. He then brought the Iteration into the station, intending to replace Korr with it. He located Jaden and his apprentice, Marr Idi-Shael, and rendered Marr unconscious after severing the Jedi's connection to the Force. He inflicted a vibroblade wound on Jaden's arm and engaged the Jedi in combat, ultimately meeting his demise when Korr strangled him. His scheme ultimately failed when Jaden's memories were implanted into the Iteration prematurely, erasing its personality.
Nenn possessed exceptional swordsmanship and was a deadly assassin. In addition to the stealth abilities inherent to Umbarans, Nyss Nenn and his twin sister, Syll, possessed the unique ability to diminish the abilities of Force users, despite not being Force-sensitive themselves. Nyss perceived himself as separate from the rest of the universe, with his sister as his sole companion. He and Syll favored darkness and frequently avoided sunlight. Nyss's ability was only partially resisted by Soldier. Nyss shared an extremely close bond with his sister, and her death ignited intense rage within him. Following her death, he observed an increase in his power, which surprised him, as he had always believed Syll amplified his abilities. He was a master of unarmed combat and was able to kill the clones Two-Blade, Runner, and Hunter. He also defeated Soldier in a hand-to-hand battle, although he was forced to retreat when Soldier recovered his lightsaber. Nenn managed to injure Jaden Korr during their confrontation but was ultimately defeated and killed by the Jedi.
