Omega's room

The quarters of Omega was a space situated within the Galactic Empire's Tantiss Base on the planet Wayland. This is where the young clone Omega resided during her period of Imperial captivity circa 18 BBY. A confined and sparsely furnished area, this room was Omega's living space for approximately 164 days while she was compelled to function as a medical assistant to Doctors Nala Se and Emerie Karr. Ultimately, Omega successfully escaped from Tantiss Base, thus abandoning the room.

Description

Located inside the Galactic Empire's Tantiss Base at Mount Tantiss upon the planet Wayland was Omega's designated living space. Subsequent to her capture on the planet around 18 BBY, the young clone Omega was imprisoned within Tantiss Base, with this particular room serving as her personal living quarters. The compact space featured a singular entrance, characterized by an interior doorway with a raised step. A bed was positioned against the far wall, in close proximity to the door. A perpetually dripping water faucet was attached to a sink. Additionally, a small window, secured with bars, was situated above the bed's side, providing a view of the surrounding jungle and mountains extending beyond the base. Aside from a gray lunch pail, which Omega kept hidden beneath her bed, and a homemade straw tooka fashioned from materials sourced from the lurca hound kennels, which she concealed due to the prohibition of personal items, the room was devoid of personal belongings.

History

Omega notices her straw tooka has been returned.

For approximately 164 days, Omega inhabited this room, during which she was compelled to assist both Doctor Emerie Karr and the Kaminoan Nala Se, also a prisoner, in the Empire's medical experiments. She marked each passing day on the window sill. Her straw tooka doll was taken away when Karr and a pair of clone commandos conducted an inspection of the room. Shortly time thereafter, Doctor Royce Hemlock confined Omega to her room as punishment for releasing the lurca hound designated LH-201, whom she had named Batcher. He threatened to harm Crosshair, a fellow clone prisoner and former member of Omega's squad, to ensure Omega's compliance. That very night, as Omega was despondent in her room, Karr returned the straw tooka to Omega, as a gesture of sympathy.

During Omega and Crosshair's attempt to escape from the base, Karr intercepted them and attempted to persuade Omega to return to her room. However, Omega refused, and Crosshair ultimately stunned the doctor. Omega's plan to escape proved successful, as she and Crosshair reunited with their squad, Clone Force 99, leaving her room behind. Later, she and the rest of Clone Force 99 returned to liberate the remaining prisoners from Tantiss Base, resulting in partial destruction of the facility and its subsequent decommissioning.
