An orbital shipping facility revolved around the planet Dantooine during the time known as the High Republic Era. It existed as a component of the Dantooine system, which was located within the Raioballo sector of both the Outer Rim Territories and the New Territories. Its precise location was grid square L-4 on the Standard Galactic Grid.
In the year 232 BBY, the destruction of the freighter named Legacy Run while traveling through hyperspace resulted in the Emergences. These were a series of events where debris from the destroyed vessel materialized into realspace at velocities approaching lightspeed throughout the Outer Rim, sometimes causing widespread devastation. As a consequence, Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh of the Galactic Republic issued an order to blockade hyperspace routes situated within the Outer Rim, with the aim of preventing similar occurrences. This blockade created significant logistical challenges for star systems in the Outer Rim, and the orbital space station positioned above Dantooine took on the role of coordinating a substantial aid shipment to assist them. However, the facility itself was ultimately obliterated by one of the most recent in a series of twenty-one Emergences that had occurred up to that point.
This orbital shipping facility was referenced in the 2021 novel titled Light of the Jedi, which was penned by Charles Soule and released as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase I.
