Parades on Tatooine

Following the Battle of Endor, which saw the death of the Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine, jubilant parades erupted across the desert planet of Tatooine. Concurrent with these celebrations, the Imperial Military retreated from Tatooine, thereby ceasing their occupation of the planet, and further festivities commenced. In Mos Eisley, celebratory blaster shots filled the air, while in Mos Pelgo, some inhabitants congregated within its cantina, rejoicing as they watched a holographic recording depicting the destruction of the DS-2 Death Star II Mobile Battle Station. The arrival of the Mining Collective, who exploited the newly formed power vacuum on Tatooine by seizing Mos Pelgo to use as a slave labor camp, abruptly ended the town's celebration. Nevertheless, only a few days afterward, [Cobb Vanth](/article/cobb_vanth], the sheriff of Mos Pelgo, liberated the settlement.
