Rinn

Rinn, a planet with extremely low temperature, was situated in the Outer Rim. To survive the frigid environment, the people of Rinn were reliant on heating systems. In the year 4 BBY, a shortage of power generators led to an energy crisis on the planet, which prompted the rebellious group Phoenix Cell to provide assistance.

Description

Located within square U-12 of the Standard Galactic Grid in the Outer Rim Territories, Rinn was an icy planet. This frozen world necessitated the use of power generators to provide supplemental heating for those living in Rinn's settlements.

History

The rebels acquired power generators to help the people of Rinn.

The inhabitants of Rinn encountered an energy crisis in 4 BBY. The depletion of their fuel cell reserves threatened their ability to power the crucial heaters needed for survival. This situation led Jun Sato, a commander in the rebel forces, to assign the Spectres the task of finding additional generators. Consequently, the team initiated a search within the black markets of Garel. Ezra Bridger, a Jedi apprentice known as Spectre-6, initially remained behind for maintenance duties, but later secured several generators from Nixus Hub 218. Sometime following the resolution of the crisis, an A-wing pilot from Phoenix Squadron, while on patrol near Rinn, was ambushed by Imperial forces. The pilot retreated back to Phoenix Cell while being pursued by Imperial ships, which initiated an attack.

Inhabitants

Humans were among the inhabitants of Rinn. It served as the homeworld for Taslin Brance, a major in the Resistance.
