Ru-Ru

Ru-Ru, a member of the esteemed Jedi Order, underwent training as both an archivist and in the ways of the Force. When the Jedi Order decided to establish a new Jedi Temple on the frontier planet of Banchii, Ru-Ru was selected for duty at this newly constructed facility. Her primary task was to create and maintain the archives within the Temple. A key aspect of her role involved expanding the Order's understanding of Banchii, with a particular emphasis on studying its ecology to provide the best possible assistance to the settlers and refugees in establishing farms and settlements. Accompanied by the droid DD-1A, Ru-Ru ventured into the surrounding ecosystems to gather data on the local flora and fauna. She also dedicated time to interacting with the settlers in the settlement, fostering trust and building strong relationships between them and the Jedi. During her strolls through the village, she would actively assist the settlers in their daily tasks, even using the Force to aid those who encountered difficulties.

When the settlement surrounding the Temple came under attack by the Drengir, Ru-Ru played a vital role in guiding the villagers to the safety of the Temple, where they could be better defended. As the villagers recuperated from their ordeal, the Jedi faced a challenging struggle to contain the Drengir threat. They were particularly alarmed when one of the creatures emerged from within the Temple itself. Although Ru-Ru was not equipped with a lightsaber, her mastery of the Force proved invaluable in defending the villagers. Despite the overwhelming odds posed by the Drengir, who demonstrated resilience against lightsaber attacks, Ru-Ru helped to strengthen the resolve of her fellow Jedi as they diverted the Drengir away from the Temple. Ultimately, through a combined effort and focused concentration, the four Jedi managed to douse the Drengir in fuel and trap them within a consuming firestorm, resulting in their death. In the aftermath of the assault, Ru-Ru assisted the Banchii Jedi in determining that the Drengir were likely being used as a tool by the Nihil, possibly as a preliminary attack to weaken the resolve of the Banchii settlers before a larger invasion. Recognizing the potential threat, the Jedi placed the planet on high alert and agreed to reinforce the settlements in preparation for a possible future incursion by the marauders.

In the time following the Drengir attack and the departure of Jedi Master [Arkoff], Ru-Ru participated in a meeting alongside Lily Tora-Asi and visiting Jedi Master Sav Malagán to discuss the discovery of several explosive devices within the settlement. After agreeing on the importance of informing Starlight Beacon, Ru-Ru was the first to realize that the communications systems were offline, effectively isolating the Temple from the rest of the galaxy. Following Tora-Asi's departure to alert the Beacon to the growing danger in the sector, Ru-Ru collaborated with Padawan Keerin Fionn to identify the cause of the communications disruption. Together, they uncovered evidence of sabotage and placed the Temple on high alert. When the assault by the Nihil commenced, Ru-Ru stood in defense of the Temple, fighting alongside the settlers who wielded blasters to protect their home. Utilizing the Force to repel the Nihil attempting to breach the Temple, Ru-Ru provided cover for the overwhelmed settlers as they retreated into the facility. As Nihil reinforcements arrived, Jedi Tora-Asi declared the Temple indefensible and instructed Ru-Ru to lead the Jedi Initiates into the forest, while Master Malagán assisted in executing a final strategy. From the safety of the darkened forest, Ru-Ru and the Initiates watched with profound sorrow as the Jedi deliberately brought down the Temple to prevent the archives from falling into the hands of the Nihil. Gathering the settlers and the Initiates, Ru-Ru boarded the Temple's Jedi transportation ship and set course for Coruscant.
