Sedri

Sedri, a waterworld, existed within the Sedri system. This system was situated in the Periphery region of the Galactic Frontier, which itself was part of the vast Outer Rim Territories. As one of the two habitable planets orbiting its binary star system (the other being Sedri Minor, an agricultural world in close proximity), Sedri's surface was overwhelmingly dominated by water, covering ninety-nine percent of it. Furthermore, Sedri possessed at least one moon in its orbit.

Following a Nihil attack targeting a Hutt starship in the Kazlin system during the year 232 BBY, Jedi Knight Ceret discovered that the vessel's journey had originated from the Sedri system. As they investigated the potential source of the ship's Vratixian barley cargo, Jedi Master Estala Maru, stationed at the Starlight Beacon space station, informed the station's marshal, fellow Master Avar Kriss, about Sedri and its neighboring world, displaying holograms of both. Consequently, Jedi were dispatched to Sedri Minor to further their inquiry.

Behind the scenes

Sedri made a holographic appearance in the second issue of Marvel Comics' Star Wars: The High Republic comic series. Cavan Scott wrote the issue, Ario Anindito provided the illustrations, and it was released on February 3, 2021, as a component of Phase I of the larger Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia initiative. The planet initially appeared in the Star Wars Legends continuity, specifically within the adventure book Battle for the Golden Sun, which was published in 1988 for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games.
