Selrahc Eluos existed as a Jedi during the Galactic Republic's decline (its final years) and the Galactic Empire's rule. Surviving the infamous Order 66, which signaled the end of the Clone Wars and the destruction of the Jedi Order, Eluos managed to conceal their presence from Darth Vader and his Inquisitors during the following Great Jedi Purge. Not long after the search for Eeth Koth, Darth Vader convened with the Grand Inquisitor at a conference located in the Inquisitorius Headquarters. The purpose was to examine a holographic roster of Jedi who had successfully evaded capture. Eluos's name was on this list, along with other Jedi such as Coleman Kcaj, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Oppo Rancisis, and Ka-Moon Kholi.
The first mention of Selrahc Eluos occurred within a holographic list, presented in Aurebesh. This list was featured in the 2018 comic book, specifically Darth Vader (2017) 19, which was penned by Charles Soule and brought to life by the illustrations of Giuseppe Camuncoli. Selrahc Eluos is a tuckerization of Soule's complete name, achieved by spelling it backward. Matt Martin later verified that both Eluos and Ka-Moon Kholi, the latter being a tuckerization of Giuseppe Camuncoli's surname, were actual characters within the established canon, rather than mere easter eggs.
Soule gave consideration to including Selrahc Eluos in Star Wars: Legacy of Vader, an upcoming comic series that will feature a survivor of Order 66.
