Coleman Kcaj, an Ongree male, achieved the rank of Jedi Master within the Jedi Order and dedicated his service during the concluding years of the Galactic Republic, specifically the last ones. As the Clone Wars raged, Kcaj was granted a position on the esteemed Jedi High Council, and he remarkably endured through the harrowing Great Jedi Purge for several years.
Born on Skustell, Coleman Kcaj, an Ongree male and a Jedi Master, secured a place on the Jedi Council, which served as the governing body for the Jedi Order. This appointment followed the death of Adi Gallia on Florrum in 19 BBY.
Kcaj was present at a Council meeting that addressed the situation of Padawan Ahsoka Tano, who faced accusations of murder for the demise of Letta Turmond and for planning the bombing that struck the Jedi Temple. Wilhuff Tarkin communicated that the Galactic Senate desired to subject her to a military tribunal. Following deliberations, the Council expelled Tano from the Order, leading to her trial by the Galactic Republic. However, Barriss Offee, also a Padawan, was ultimately exposed as the actual perpetrator.

After clone trooper Tup murdered Jedi Master Tiplar due to a malfunction in his secret biochip, he was dispatched to Kamino for investigation. Kcaj attended a council meeting via holographic form when Jedi Master Shaak Ti informed the council of her suspicion that Tup might have a tumor.
Subsequently, Kcaj was present when the Council decided to send Jedi Master Mace Windu and Junior Representative Jar Jar Binks on a mission to investigate a series of disappearances on Bardotta, including that of their Queen Julia. Kcaj was also present when Plo Koon reported the discovery of Master Sifo-Dyas' lightsaber. Yoda verified its authenticity and initiated an investigation. Kcaj was again present when the Council learned that Dooku was responsible for creating the clone army. They opted to keep this information secret to maintain public trust in the Republic. Later, Kcaj was present when Yoda shared his experience of hearing the voice of the long-deceased Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his desire to understand these communications from beyond. The entire Council meditated with Yoda, but none of them heard the voice.
Later, Kcaj was present when Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker discussed a massive kyber crystal they had found on Utapau. Kcaj was present again when they reported the crystal's destruction, prompting Yoda to remind the Council of tales where kyber crystals were utilized for weapons by the Sith.

Later in the same year, Kcaj attended a meeting where Yoda shared his report on a devastating weapon known as Operation: Titan, which had the potential to shift the war's momentum in favor of the Confederacy. However, the available information on the enemy project was limited. Obi-Wan Kenobi suggested examining the databanks of a captured Separatist frigate by Anakin Skywalker's forces. Yoda concurred and decided to join Skywalker himself. Their investigation revealed that Operation: Titan involved the construction of a new droid army comprised of "megadroids." They reported to the Council that the megadroids were being built on Golatha and that they planned to destroy the factory before the megadroids could be deployed, a mission they successfully completed.
Shortly following the Battle of Coruscant, Kcaj attended a performance of Squid Lake at the Galaxies Opera House and engaged in conversation with Senator Sweitt Concorkill just before the show.

Towards the war's conclusion, Kcaj was present when the Council granted Skywalker a seat, following his appointment by Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine. He was also present when the council discussed Palpatine's claim that General Grievous was hiding on Utapau and suggested sending Skywalker to lead the campaign. However, the council opted for a more experienced Master, choosing Kenobi instead. Soon after, Palpatine declared himself Emperor, and Skywalker, now the Sith Lord Darth Vader, assisted in the destruction of the Jedi Order.
During the Galactic Empire's reign, Kcaj was one of the few Jedi who survived Order 66. Although initially presumed dead, Kcaj's name was later included on a holographic list created by the Inquisitorius of confirmed survivors following the hunt for Eeth Koth, indicating that he had successfully evaded the Empire for five years.
Coleman Kcaj was an Ongree male characterized by yellow eyes and yellow skin. He stood at 2.04 meters tall, equivalent to 6 feet, 8 inches. Kcaj was highly regarded within the Jedi Council. While he was a skilled warrior in his youth, he eventually viewed battle as a regrettable failure to achieve mutual understanding.
Coleman Kcaj possessed expertise in Force sensitivity, meditation, lightsaber combat, military strategy, and diplomacy, the last of which was a common attribute among Ongree.
Coleman Kcaj typically wore Jedi robes and wielded a green single-bladed lightsaber.
During a performance of the opera Squid Lake at the Galaxies Opera House, Kcaj wore red-and-white patterned robes very similar to those worn by Junior Representative Jar Jar Binks.
Coleman Kcaj made his debut appearance in the 2005 film Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. He is entirely computer-animated. Originally, Kcaj was named Sweitt Concorkill, but this name was later assigned to a Vurk Senator. Early confusion arose between the Ongree Jedi Pablo-Jill from Attack of the Clones and the Ongree member of the Jedi Council in Revenge of the Sith. Initial Set Diaries identified the latter Ongree as Pablo-Jill and later as Sweitt Concorkill, before he was eventually named Coleman Kcaj. The character was initially intended to be Pablo-Jill, but the need for a more detailed CGI model in Episode III led to the creation of a new character. The name Coleman Kcaj is a reference to Rob Coleman's son Jack, with Kcaj being the reversed spelling of Jack.
Initially, upon the release of Part IV of Obi-Wan Kenobi, StarWars.com mistakenly identified the corpse of Pablo-Jill as Coleman Kcaj. However, in the concept art by Kouji Tajima, the art for this character was labeled as Pablo-Jill. Lucasfilm Story Group member Pablo Hidalgo noted that the Ongree in Obi-Wan Kenobi lacked spots, resembling Pablo-Jill more closely, but suggested that Wookieepedia prioritize StarWars.com over the concept art. Starwars.com later corrected its error, changing Coleman Kcaj's name to Pablo-Jill in the image description, confirming that it was indeed Pablo-Jill and not the missing Coleman Kcaj. Following this confusion, Coleman Kcaj, along with Oppo Rancisis, remain the only Jedi High Council survivors of Order 66 whose fates are unknown.
